    • 1-2 scoops vanilla ice cream
    • ¼ cup double espresso, coffee, or cold brew coffee
    • 2 tablespoons prepared salted caramel sauce
    • 1 tablespoon chopped dark chocolate, almonds, or hazelnuts
    • Pinch of sea salt
    • Salted Caramel Sauce
    • 3 tablespoons Crystal unsalted butter
    • ½ cup light brown sugar
    • ¼ cup heavy whipping cream
    • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • Directions

    Step 1
    Prepare the caramel sauce:
    In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add sugar and cream, stir constantly, just until mixture begins to bubble slightly (about 3 minutes). Remove from heat, whisk in sea salt and vanilla. Allow to cool slightly before transferring to an airtight container. Keeps in fridge for up to 2 weeks.

    Step 2
    Assemble the affogato:

    Place ice cream in a medium glass, Top with espresso, caramel, and chocolate. Sprinke with a pinch of sea salt. Serve and enjoy!
